Mission: To provide leadership, encouragement, resources, and training needed to equip our members to carry out the Great Commission in our area.
Functions:
1. Encourage and promote evangelistic activities.
2. Provide training opportunities, equipment, and other resources needed to support evangelistic efforts.
3. Involve the congregation in greeting visitors and newcomers.
4. Plan and organize periodic evangelistic efforts such as gospel meetings and mailings.
5. Oversee the tract rack so that it is always stocked with a variety of quality, relevant, informative material.
6. Facilitate Bible studies and other activities with new converts to ground them in the Truth.
7. Oversee evangelistic advertising efforts.
8. Attend elder/deacon meetings and keep the Elders informed about evangelistic activities.
9. Prepare a yearly budget to support evangelistic activities.
